Affirmative action, Klan-style

The historically noted founder of the Ku Klux Klan, Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forest, and those who shared his beliefs must be rolling over in their graves. Today's Democrat party and their support group, the African-American community, are the modern day purveyors of racial discrimination.
The Democrat party has convinced the African-American community in particular that killing their progeny in the womb is a right they must retain. Abortion is a keystone issue for the Democrat party voting block. It is no accident that Planned Parenthood abortion clinics are mostly located in minority communities. Planned Parenthood's founder, Margaret Sanger, clearly had an agenda of eugenics, in her own words eliminating the African-American community "human weeds" of society. Not only are abortions occurring by the millions, but the African-American community votes almost unanimously to demand this "service." General Forest and those with his similar world-view must be pleased with the demand to be allowed to kill so many African-American progeny.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and many African-Americans of his time are reported to have been Republicans. Echoing the wisdom set forth in the Declaration of Independence, that all men are created equal, is this famous Dr. King quote..."I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." The vision of a color-blind America has been displaced by the Democrat party through affirmative action, and a plethora of laws and regulations to favor one race or group over another. By their very name, not to mention voting patterns, the hyphenated African-American community demands the color of their skin to be the focus of their identity. Consequently, based on skin pigment alone they are to be treated separately, with special considerations within our society. General Forest and those with his similar world-view must be pleased with the segregationist demand to judge others by the color of their skin.
The African-American community is reported to be a tremendously religious group. Our current President has in the past supported abortion, but not only abortion, late term abortion or even born alive abortion. In addition to this barbarism are the "softer issues" of forcing people of religion to provide the funds for abortion, against the basic tenets of many religious people and in clear contravention of the First Amendment of our Constitution. Mr. Obama also has an agenda for homosexual marriage, again with clear religious implications against such a practice. Yet, with these and other amoral positions, the "tremendously religious" African-American community set aside their religious convictions and voted for their first African-American President in two separate elections, near unanimously. General Forest and those with his similar world-view would be pleased that religious convictions take second place to the skin-color segregationist approach.
Having taken control and virtually directed the destruction of our country's education system, the Democrat party has sentenced so many in the African-American community to being second-class citizens. The notoriously worst educational systems are located in the urban, long-term Democrat controlled cities in our country. The Democrats and their funding source for this issue, teacher's unions, have provided that sense of hopelessness that permeates in the absence of a quality education. Regardless, the African-American community is in lock-step with an inferior educational system for their children, based on their Democrat party voting patterns. General Forest and those with his similar world-view would be delighted that African-Americans are provided with such poor education and lack of promise for a more productive future.
The right of self-defense predates and exists outside of government, as so clearly defined in the Second Amendment to our Constitution. In fact, the importance of the right to keep and bear arms is paramount..."being necessary to the security of a free state." It is no surprise then, that gun control in our country includes racist roots. Clearly demonstrated in our current gun control debates, the Democrat party, as is its core belief, demands the people disarm and remain subservient to the government; the government to retain the right to exercise armed authority. Similarly, those on the losing side of history did not wish the slaves and former slaves to have access to guns, to posses the tools of self-defense and of free men. Unfortunately, having missed the significance of freedom embodied in the right of armed self-defense, the African-American community sides with its Democrat party master and demands disarmament. General Forest and those with his similar world-view would be quite content with a helpless, unarmed and subservient African-American community.
An apparent choice has been made between being chattel of the government and freedom. Unfortunately, the African-American community appears to have chosen their new master, who offers nothing more than affirmative action, Klan-style.
