Racists and Senator Ted Cruz

By John Bender
web posted October 7, 2013

Sen. Ted CruzTed Cruz, Senator from Texas is getting a lot of criticism and some vicious personal attacks from the radical left and defeatists in his own party.  Some of the criticism is based on disagreement with his strategy for saving the nation from the train wreck of Obamacare.

Most of the criticism, and all of the personal attacks, are from racists who hate the idea that a brilliant, accomplished, Hispanic is leading the effort to save the American people from Obamacare, and stands a very good chance of becoming President of the United States.  For racists like Ed Schultz, Joe Scarborough, Chris Mathews, Tina Brown, Harry Reid (D, NV), Nancy Pelosi, (D, CA), and Peter King (RINO, NY), those facts send them over the edge.

Senator Cruz is also an embarrassment to establishment Republicans who cannot come close to matching him intellectually or in terms of gravitas or personality.  Mr. Cruz is the junior Senator from Texas but is far and away more popular and influential than Senator John Cornyn who has been in office for years.  He is also out shining old school establishment Republicans like Tom Coburn (R, OK) and they don't like it.

The people of America, on the other hand like Senator Cruz more and more as he works to make the government work for them instead of for the ruling political class.  Senator Cruz now leads in the pols for who Republicans want as President in 2016. The people know Mr. Cruz is the real deal and one of the very few politicians who is keeping his campaign promises.  That is so rare; it is in and of itself enough to make voters like Senator Cruz.

But the vast majority of the attacks on Senator Cruz aren't petty jealousy they are blatant anti-Hispanic racism from political hacks and radical leftist media whores.  Senator Cruz is better educated than most of the racists, and much smarter than all of them.  He has an impressive list of accomplishments both as a scholar at elite universities and in his working career.  But none of that fits the racists' idea of what an Hispanic is or should be.

The radical leftist racists think all Hispanics should be dependent on government and that they all support amnesty for illegal aliens.  Their puny, warped minds cannot accept a Senator Cruz, who embodies what used to be the American dream.

The failing is theirs, not Senator Cruz' or the people who support him.  When Ted Cruz is President Cruz the racists will come totally unhinged.  It will be fun to watch the racists melt down as President Cruz sets the country back on the right path.

The leftists would have a hissy fit were any constitutionalist to win the Presidency.  However, faced with a brilliant, Hispanic, constitutionalist as President, their heads will explode.  Should an Hispanic constitutionalist become president people like Schultz, Mathews, Reid, and King, who long ago left the ranks of the rational, will descend farther into their sick hate filled mental state.  That will be fun to watch.
