The perfect progressive couple: God and Mother Nature
By Michael Moriarty
Ms. Oprah Winfrey is so efficient, vibrantly alive, intelligent, well-read and with a good sense of humor! How can her approval of legalized abortion be at all insane? She symbolizes the sanity of abortion!
Oh, I know Oprah's vastly more successful than most of us. She is probably a billionnairess by now. And there is another "highly influential wealthy person" in the Obama/Winfrey mix, George Soros, Obama's "Angel", as they say. "Money … Money … Money!" as the song goes.
Ms. Winfrey is also a massive philanthropist. She just returned from South Africa where she has built a school, apparently at her own expense. The children in that school certainly aren't headed for poverty. It's the first of what we might call the best of Africa's preparatory schools. The graduates would be what I might call "Mother Nature's honors children". Mother Nature because they, like Mother Nature, can kill their own children in what we used to call a "natural disaster" and what we now describe as women's rights.
Hundreds of thousands, even millions of human beings have been destroyed by earthquakes, floods, tsunamis and the like … and there is nothing we can do about it. We can say something about and against abortion, but the Women's Movement, like Mother Nature, is going to make sure that things won't change, no matter what we say, consequently the Women's Movement has the rights of Mother Nature, and Roe v. Wade will be with us to eternity.
If women are Mother Natures then their men would be obliged to play God. With the rumors of Bill Clinton's messianic complex furthur corroborated by the quick-fix claims of his "Global Initiative", Bill and Hillary have established the only self-images possible for a Progressive couple, some human beings allowed to play God and Mother Nature.
However, can the profoundly Progressive Obama and Winfrey, in the coming election, push Bill and Hillary out of the way? With Obama as charmingly pure intellect and Winfrey as Mother Nature, how can they lose?
Well, some Americans don't appreciate women with the homicidal freedoms of Mother Nature, aborting gestating Americans at a rate of roughly 1 million to 1.5 million abortions per year … and if the women can play Mother Nature, the men, like Obama, can play God and … well … are you beginning to see the problem, the inevitable implications?
As for Obama's charmingly pure intellect, well, he's a Harvard Law School graduate, what would you expect? It's our idea of American royalty and Bill and Hillary look so, well, Protestant and middle class by comparison. Obama and Winfrey are freethinkers! The perfect American success story. That their leftist vision for America is in defiance of the human rights paragraph of the Declaration of Independence, our "inalienable right to life" upon "creation" not gestation … Obama and Winfrey can justly answer, "Well, ‘all men are created equal' did not mean much for 89 years!" Besides, they might add, "You can't stand in the way of progress."
Or God and Mother Nature, for that matter.
God and Mother Nature, Obama and Winfrey, President and Vice-President, no, that would push the Horatio Alger Success Story just too far.
Obama and Hillary! Yes!! Now that's a winning ticket, rather like Kennedy and Johnson, right?
Naah … both Obama and Hillary are Illinois neighbours. There is none of the Kennedy/Johnson/Massachusetts/Texas interstate rivalry.
It is the Democratic Party, though, and with Chicago as its capital and the Daley Machine still alive and running the Loop, you never know who will be left standing in the Democratic Party.
An Obama/Clinton ticket would win, though, and isn't that what matters most? The messy question of who is actually going to be the "really real" President can wait till after the victory. With such a profoundly pro-abortion ticket, "tough decision" becomes the Democratic Party's middle name!
However, no, I don't think those two, Barack and Hillary, could get along for four years together, let alone eight. Something would just have to give.
But where is poor Oprah now?
Possibly Secretary of State!
No, she would turn it down.
Hillary's inevitable failure as President, that will inspire Oprah to run for the Presidency itself and win! Right?!
The question still remains, however: will the human race survive with its women playing Mother Nature and its men playing God?
Caesar and Cleopatra played both and … well … it didn't turn out well for either of them.
Joseph and Magda Goebbels, Hitler's propaganda minister and his wife, who became a retro-active abortionist for her own children, yes, killed them herself, all five of them, with cyanide pills – "if", she said, "they can't live within German National Socialism, they are better off dead …" – Joseph and Magda Goebbels' ghosts seem to be haunting us.
Hillary Clinton, in her autobiography, sort of implied a similar sentiment. She inferred much the same thing about a teenage prostitute in the Philippines, that the young girl would have been better off aborted. There is even a photo of the young girl in Hillary's book, Living History.
Would Mary Magdalene of the Bible have been better off dead? And who knows how young she was when she was possibly forced into prostitution?
These Progressive Christians have a strange version of what Christ might have intended. I believe He intended the self-evident truth of what He said, not the least of which seems to have been personally addressed to Progressive, child-aborting Christians: "As you do unto the least of these, so you do unto me."
There is a bit of an implied threat in that statement, isn't there?
However, what could Judeo-Christianity possibly have done to stop Stalin, Mao Tse Tung and Pol Pot, all three of whom lived out their natural lives in decades of homicidal Deity?
Well, those three never claimed to be Christian … and there's the rub, because not even the Devil is allowed or even inclined to love and protect a hypocrite. He does foster hypocrisy, but he is particularly merciless with hypocrites.
If people act like they're God and Mother Nature but know they're really not, well, the phrase "women's rights" carries as much "Mother Nature's Freedom" as "all men are created equal" means that all human beings are gestated as possible candidates for abortion. That's what "women's rights" has translated the American "inalienable right to life" into, a woman's right to have her child executed.
As I've said, until the Progressives showed up, only God and Mother Nature had that right.
