That didn't take long

Given the messianic fervor which surrounded Barack Obama just eight months ago, it's amazing how fast his star is being tarnished. According to a new poll the Bamster's approval rating has fallen to 50 per cent.

And even more surprising is that his presidency is casting a pall over Democratic chances to win the Virginia gubernatorial race.

Say what you will about George W. Bush but it wasn't until his second term that he was all but asked to stay away by Republican candidates.
