TEAR DOWN THAT FLAG ... that's the title (I hope!) of a column I am writing about the United Nations Flag that is currently flying in front of Amherst (Mass) Town Hall. If any of you want to offer one of your "Ten Things I hate about the UN," I am all ears.

I'll try a couple, don't know that I have ten. In no particular order, here's what I hate about the U.N.

1. It's overdepency on rights abusers.

2. The way it embraces anti-Amercanism as proper diplomatic parlance.

3. How wrong it is to believe its Charter supercedes the Bill of Rights.

4. Its inability to act justly.

5. Its outdated alliances and protocols.

hmmm ... maybe I could come up with ten. I'd better stop before I go on and on ...

I think the blue helmets are great. It shows the UN to be a member of the Axis of Fah-bulous!

Guys, according to the U.N. charter the helmets are powder blue.

I would say the thing I hate most about the U.N. is the fact that dictatorial and semi-dictatorial governments outnumber free states among the membership. Talk about two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch!
