THE RETURN OF THE SOVIET UNION?: I was completely unaware of this web site until today! Our friends at the National Center for Public Policy Research launched recently "Center for the Future of Russia", particularly pertinent before a summit that starts tomorrow.

Looks like an Aardvark site to me.
Don't get excited over some Web site that puts out scare stuff. Sure some Russkis are not our friends, but most are or are neutral. This particular site is really amateurish, lashing out with the usual agitprop. We have er - more demanding things to worry about. G

True, but the National Center for Public Policy Research is a pretty credible organization.

I'm active on the board over there and ran into this page via Google. Everything posted there has a citation, most from major newspapers like the Washington Post, NY Times or LA Times. The way I figure it, if the NY Times or LA Times is writing articles about a deteriorating security situation in Russia, there must be something to look into. Those papers aren't exactly national security alarmists.
