I find it funny that paleoconservatives crying over being declared "unpatriotic conservatives" when for years (decades actually) they've been running around passing judgment on every other stripe of conservative. Who created the RINO tag?

That said, this illustrates marvelously the dangers of defining yourself narrowly on a single or set of related issues. Both paleos and neocons are guilty of this, though I think the neocons fall into this trap more often. If paleos can claim one advantage, they seem to have a more developed philosophy on more issues.
