The rainbow being

By Michael Moriarty
web posted June 12, 2006

I realized this morning that life never really lets us out of the back seat. Remember your childhood when you were sitting in the back seat of your parents' car and you were all going somewhere so far away you felt you'd never get there and you've gotta pee and the day is hot and the candy's all gone? Do you remember that?

"Just hold on," says Daddy, "and quiet down!"

When will we ever get there? That litany drones on as the car glides down the highway. As we grow older, we realize that our parents didn't know as much as we thought they did, or convinced us they knew. Then we become parents and now we're the ones saying: "Just hold on and quiet down!"

When we realize, even at the wheel of the car, that we're still in the back seat waiting to arrive, that's when we ask ourselves – what's it all about? We've really gone nowhere. We're still in the back seat of the car.

Well, the truth is that we're already there and don't know it. We're not going over the rainbow or even approaching it. We are the Rainbow.

We're the Rainbow People. And nowhere on earth is that more evident than in the United States of America. We're the Rainbow Reality (and not a Coalition).

With the abortion policies in effect in the U.S. since 1973, today's leadership class says there's already too much of the Rainbow left alive. They want to reduce the world's population from six billion to 250 million people (the ideal population the planet can sustain, according to some influential environmentalists).

"I beg your pardon?"

Yup, that's their ultimate goal. They're saying their plan to thin the herd is already reducing poverty, hunger and crime. That's what they're showing us – the statistics and numbers. Nothing but upside.

Meanwhile, we sit in the back of the car being driven to the destination our parents have in mind for us. When we finally reach that destination, we are at the very Rainbow the Universe had designed for us all along. Surrendering to the Rainbow Being-ness of it all is its own reward. The colors surrounding us have a divine irresistibility and drama. Life is the place we've reached. We sit marveling at the very miracle and profound privilege of being alive, for we may have escaped the plans our parents had to abort us into an eternity of nothingness.

I think Adam and Eve must have thought that you don't get something for nothing… so what's the catch?

Well, there was the serpent waiting to tell us: "You're not God yet. I can help you become God."

Hmm… so he says we can drive the car, eh?

Well, we're already in the car. We made it to the light of the delivery room, if not the light of day and that rainbow which occasionally appears in the sky.

Do you know there's a Super Rainbow in every constellation? Photos of it are downloadable from the Internet. The Rainbow's colors explode so fast they look like they're standing still. The mystery in the Rainbow is the mystery within us.

We are the living Rainbow looking up at God's vision of what He desired for us: light in its finest form, which is love.

Yet the new progressive liberal parents think they have a better idea and tempo of evolution than our real parents – God Almighty and Mother Earth.

We're the Rainbow Symphony Orchestra. Technocrats are taking the baton from God's hand and the first violin out of concertmaster Mother Earth's hands, and are hurrying things along, conducting and playing the symphony faster and better than our parents.

If you know symphony orchestras as I've come to know them, having conducted a few, there's a Rainbow Consensus among the musicians who vote instantly on a new conductor. If the Maestro sets a tempo of leadership that the Rainbow Orchestra doesn't like, and does it with his tone of voice soon enough, the players wait to see where that baton is going before they have him fired! Herbert von Karajan conducted like Il Duce, by all accounts. Von Karajan made the orchestra run on time, the way Benito Mussolini made the trains run on time.

Can he give us the downbeat firmly and, what's more important, when and how fast will the next downbeat come? That will tell us everything. Yes, the motion of his hand at the outset and upon completion of the first measure… that will tell us. Also, is the motion of his hand beautiful? Does it reflect what we musicians really are: THE RAINBOW?

Obviously, the hand of von Karajan was almost flawless for most Rainbow Orchestras. That's all that really mattered. Did that conductor bring us back to the center of the Rainbow?

Once the music has begun, and the symphony launched with all players centered in the Rainbow, the conductor then stays out of the orchestra's way, as Leonard Bernstein once observed.

A great conductor introduces an orchestra to the baton of God and the first violin of Mother Earth. When the Rainbow knows our creators are in charge, God speaks to us clearly.

I don't think the current crop of politicians can conduct or play worth a damn. The American Rainbow never needed a King or Queen. We kicked them out in 1776. We'll deal with a President/Conductor for about four years until his contract expires. If we, the American Rainbow, like what happened on the podium for four years, we'll give the President a second term in the White House.

There can be no improvements to the Rainbow except to make it larger and take it out to the other planets, to go to the most distant recesses of the known universe – and beyond.

Why do you think there are Rainbows in the constellations? To call us out to the Universe! Why do you think our parents gave us that infinite sandbox to play in? To bring light in its finest form, which is love, to our Father's very own being.

When the true, but as yet undisclosed Emperors of this New World Order, the scientists, are ordered to shift their sights from building an improved human race – for that is their aim – and when the cold indifference of their minds is applied to making other planets habitable, we'll be home free. We'll be in the back seat of the car, headed where the Universe always wanted us to boldly go: to the stars and constellations and extra-solar planets. When that happens, there won't be enough of the Rainbow to fulfill God's Greatest Wish.

Yes, we are indeed in the Second Coming. The Anti-Christ goes to work first, builds his empire and rules the world. Then, when the rainbow itself feels the orders from its parents, when the Holy Ghost unites in the conspiracy of our Invisible Power, the Rainbow will rise and pour God's wrath down the throat of the Scientific Beast and the Rainbow Being will emerge.

So it was foretold in Book of Revelations.
