A Darwinian interpretation of the Book of Revelations

My costar in Hitler Meets Christ, Wyatt Page, and I used to argue incessantly over the Bible. He is a Creationist and I am a Darwinian. The central difference between us always ended up being how we both saw Scripture. I would state my view, which upset him. Wyatt would reply with his, at which I laughed. We both adore that backbone to our Judeo-Christian civilization but, alas, we recall that the Irish shoot and bomb each other over such bipolar points of view.

My friends have encouraged me to contemplate what the world would be like if a Democratic candidate became President of the United States in 2008. That possibility was so horrifying I had to consult the Bible. While this happened, a Bible course in Indiana teaching End Times came slipping through my computer screen. The instructor is, of course, a Creationist. I don't imagine we'll be corresponding much. He is in the midst of describing End Times. It's a seven-year period of trial and tribulation during which the Holy Spirit is utterly absent. The saved are taken to heaven to await the culmination of the End Times.
I've figured it out, along Darwinian lines, of course, and here is my interpretation of the End Times that we are approaching.
The thought of another Democrat president signified the End Times to me. Such a victory for the Vichy-like Democratic Party will be the final and complete victory of the French, Marxist, Napoleonic vision of the "People." The United States is the last piece of real estate on earth the New World Order is obliged, by Socialist imperatives, to gobble up.
Our Lord said, "Heaven is within."
That observation is not only Biblical but Darwinian as well. It is also the Scripture that obligates individual freedom and responsibility, the actions of which determine our character; and, as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. observed, character is what we will ultimately be judged by. An act of free will on the part of each of us is necessary to reach the "heaven within." Should an individual, through meditation and self-exploration, choose to go there, then heaven is theirs. Should individuals prefer to look outside themselves at a world of which they are, if they're the least bit Christian, not the least bit a part of, then heaven is lost.
The Founding Fathers of America, a "nation under God," looked within and came up with the following revelation: "We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal with the inalienable right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness." While honoring the separation of Church and State, this statement still infers that heaven, or "happiness" in this case, "is within."
Now, after 225 tumultuous years, decades of endurance under at least six revolutions -- the Revolution of 1776, the Civil War, the Industrial Revolution, the Sexual Revolution, the Civil Rights Revolution and finally, the Micro Revolution (the one in which we've seen computers the size of a room reduced to the size of a wristwatch) – two world wars and the as yet unresolved war against the New World Order, the United States of America is approaching the End Times. The Creationists believe that the saved in Christ will be suddenly lifted off the earth and taken to the haven of Jehovah's Heaven. The rest will be left to suffer under the Devil, his Beast and his Preachers. The Holy Spirit will be found nowhere. The Great Paraclete, or Lawyer/Comforter as He's known, hasn't perpetrated the hell. He just won't be there to intervene in the assault upon the benighted.
Out on a Limb
I'm going out on a limb here – but I have to. The prospect of another Democratic takeover of the White House is so abominable, I'm sharing my Darwinian interpretation of what's going to happen in the coming End Times, a horror that will begin in 2008 and not end until 2015. Where will I be? Back home in America. And why? It's heaven on earth. (In 1994, I fled the U.S. to protest a series of outrages committed on the American body politic by Bill Clinton and Janet Reno, only to find myself in just another nation under the New World Order – Canada. I really have no other place to go but back to the United States.)
If heaven is within and not an imaginary place somewhere else in the universe (physical or metaphysical), then it's only fair to assume that a flock of like-minded believers all gathered together in one nation would amount to heaven on earth. This is my Darwinian, empirical interpretation of the heaven in Revelations.
In 2008, a Christian Republican President will be elected. He will announce that the End Times have begun and America herself is the very heaven spoken of in Revelations. The rest of the world, plunged as it is into the seas of Socialist Federations and the zealously Godless Marxist faith, will suffer the End Times, while the heaven of America looks on. One of the tortures of hell is allowing the damned to see the bliss of heaven without being able to reach it, let alone storm it. Such will be the case with the rest of the world as its citizens labor to hold back the coming increase in ethnic cleansing, wholesale abortion, mass cloning, fetal tissue research, censorship of the bibles and churches – the mark of End Times placed on each soul, increasing arrests, incarcerations and executions.
The End Times will be preceded by two remarkable warnings from Mother Earth. Major fault lines lie beneath the earth's surface. In 2005, two of them, one under the Three Gorges Dam in Communist China, and the San Andreas Fault beneath Hollywood, will shift violently. Not since Mao's "Great Leap Forward," a Communist experiment that ended in the death by starvation of 30 million Chinese citizens, has such a mistake been made by the Chinese Communists as the Three Gorges Dam. Forewarned of its positioning above a known fault, the President and Prime Minister of the People's Republic of China displaced three million Chinese to build a hydroelectric colossus. The body count from an eruption of the fault beneath it will dwarf that of the recent tsunami in the Indian Ocean.
Similarly, a message will be sent to Moscow's last disciple of Stalinism, Vladimir Putin, that the Soviet Broadcasting Company of Hollywood is no longer an arm of the Russian contribution to the New World Order.
Since there is no country left that is the least bit interested in helping America, the dividing lines between the United States and the rest of the world have never been more defined. Mother Earth will protect the heaven both she and our Father Almighty deemed the New Heaven of the New Chosen People in the New Jerusalem, America, from the Fourth Reich of the New World Order.
Following the victory of a Republican candidate for President, the new POTUS will overturn Roe v. Wade and then revive the Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798, a justifiable piece of American self-defense instituted by President John Adams to protect the 13 U.S. states from French imperialistic grand designs. This time, the suspects will not be French but Islamic. Our entire nation, from its law and order arm to the citizens themselves, will keep a close eye on all avowed Muslims. Furthermore, the government of the United States will order warnings be placed on three books, in the same way that disturbing photos and descriptions are placed on cigarette packs. The books are: the Koran and the two testaments of the Napoleonic Empire – Das Kapital and The Communist Manifesto. The citation on the Koran will read: "Warning: This book is dangerous to your soul." That on the two others will read: "Contents are dangerous to your freedom."
Freedom of Speech will in no way be harmed. The books will be available as adult substances to smoke are, but warnings will be attached to them – for these are toxic and noxious screeds.
From the heaven of America, the nightmare of the End Times will be observed. In short, the rest of the world will go to hell.
Our Lord said that loving your enemy "heaps coals of fire on their head." In this instance, the love can only be pity. We cannot lift a finger to help the enemy. In other words, let the dead of soul bury the dead of soul.
The soul of Robespierre Lives On
The real father of Napoleon's soul and therefore Empire was not Italian. He was French. His name was Maximilien Robespierre (1758-1794). His life tells you the repeated, eternal return of the hell inherent in the French Revolution. His own demise is the ultimate fate of the virulent disease he gave birth to: Napoleonism.
The children of Napoleon's soul are: Napoleon, Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Adolph Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Vladimir Ilich Lenin, Josef Stalin, Mao Zedong, Josip Broz Tito, Slobodan Milosevic, Fidel Castro, Kim Jong Il, Wen Jiabao, Vladimir Putin and the most diabolical of them all – the Al Qaeda of Osama bin Laden and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. Because of the would-be Napoleons in Africa and Latin America, there is a much longer list of names in minor categories.
It is they who have engulfed the entire world, infected it and, with French Educational Imperialism to counteract American Cultural Imperialism, invaded every major college and university faculty in the world, including the Ivy League of America.
All freshmen come home to tell the world that they now know more than their middle-class parents. Graduates and post-graduates of Napoleonic curricula receive degrees with utter certainty that Karl Marx knew more about the future than the Founding Fathers of the United States.
Such is the condition of the Democratic Party of America. Its leaders are the equivalent of summa cum laude graduates with a metaphysically sophomoric attitude. So much for the difference between knowledge and wisdom.
The Chosen People
We Americans of the Third Millennium are the most privileged people in the history of the world. From the perch of our American Heaven, we will live out the End Times and be able to record it safely on videotape and film.
"Resist not evil," said our Lord.
Why?
The Devil always destroys himself in the end.
It is said in Revelations that the Beast and his Preachers are not killed, but only locked up for one thousand years. Therefore, the Fourth Millennium, that beginning with the year 3000, will see the escape and return of Evil on a grand level. Its revival, however, will be short-lived, after which, all Evil will be ultimately destroyed. That is why it behooves us to incarcerate the traitors and malevolent leaders of the New World Order. The metaphysical disease which has benighted their souls will not harm us from prison for one thousand years, a full millennium of Pax Americana.
