Could President Obama become America's Robespierre?
By Michael Moriarty
In light of my questioning title, it might be well to link my readers to my most recent comparison of President Obama to the very, very French Prime Minister of Canada, Pierre Trudeau.
Leading to this, if you'll forgive me, "French Connection", I must share my view of the one consistent truth behind Progressive inconsistency.
To begin with, Roe v Wade, which Progressives seem almost willing to defend with their lives – President Obama's "executive order" notwithstanding" – is not pro-choice because the gestating infant has no choice in the matter of his or her own death. Therefore, Roe v Wade, for me and many others, is no more of a matter of human free will or human rights than is murder.
Those who would object to that intensely necessary distinction are either Progressive hypocrites, i.e. Progressive Catholic Nancy Pelosi, or they are consciously aware of the Progressive Movement's utter dependency upon corruption and, more importantly, the Progressives' main obsession which is death as a matter of philosophic policy.
Death, I believe, will prove to be the one, major and most effective common denominator within this American euphemism for World Communism known as the Progressive New World Order.
In short, this ObamaCare, exactly like Roe v Wade, is just another form of the Progressive sale of death as a solution.
Progressives do not, among themselves, call the repercussions of ObamaCare Retroactive Abortion, they call it "Population Control".
For example, the Progressive display of humanitarianism in the fight against AIDS is actually a method of controlling the possible discovery of an antidote, not to mention a lure to naïve contributors.
Death is, without question, the single most important solution that Progressives offer as a cure for not some but each and every major problem in the world.
Death as the ultimate antidote to the major problems of humanity is the one consistent factor within an otherwise profoundly inconsistent, Progressive philosophy.
While they loudly proclaim their opposition to war with either Communists or Islamic terrorists, they secretly reinforce the Communist and Islamic loathing of Judeo-Christianity by discrediting, yea, destroying within the hearts and minds of the West, the Biblical notion of sacredness within the meaning of human life.
Speaker Pelosi's utterly shameless display of Progressive arrogance before the indisputably pro-life Pope of what she claims is her own church … well … only her comments during the Obama Care debate could equal such transparent insolence.
Nothing is really sacred to a Progressive except his or her own idea of Progress!
You can almost hear Pelosi's Gavel falling on that declaration.
In my personal opinion, such shamelessness is equal to Hitler's pride in his own Thousand Year Plan.
Progressive Abortion is the sterilized definition of what appears to be a more appetizing and wildly more successful "Final Solution".
An old and abhorrent idea dressed up in the best of America's Progressive finery.
For me, the only two people consistently aware of that simple foundation of death to the now, 100 year-old Progressive hegemony in America are Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin.
Beck's often hysterical-sounding rants are inspired by the clearest and most complete vision of Progressive Evil that we have.
If my job were to stare at that enemy as repeatedly as Beck, I'd sound hysterical as well.
Thank God, Sarah Palin's much briefer appearances on Fox allow her time to breath.
Death, both physical – Palin's accurately diagnosed "Death Panels" – and economic – Beck's portrait of the suicidal cliff off which the Pied Piper, President Obama, is leading us – such various forms of self-destruction are being offered to America by Progressives as America's Best Friends.
When one understands that consistency, nothing about the Progressive philosophy of life is inconsistent.
Red Islam is my name for the actual truth beneath the lies and all the euphemisms inspired by "Progressive Political Correctness".
The inevitable war that would, should and will be fought between Communism and Islamic Fundamentalism, has now been put on hold because those two insanities share one common enemy: the traditional United States of America.
Red Islam depends upon some form of herd mentality.
Without it, neither Communism nor Islam can exist.
America's most distinguishing achievements are the depth and breadth of individual freedom, the traditional strength of independence within that nation's freedom and the individual freedoms of its citizens.
That quantity of freedom, however, demands an equal portion of personal responsibility … and it is that ingredient, personal responsibility, which Red Islam, the coalition of Communists and Islamic terrorists, now working so effectively within the worldwide Progressive Movement, are successfully endeavoring to erode.
To weaken, cripple and ultimately eliminate!
In the face of that, Glenn Beck is, without question, leading the Battle Cry and, indeed, forming the major strategies for a war of "Faith, Hope and Charity" against the Red Islamic forces, so compellingly exploited and manipulated by the American Progressives now in power.
The ultimate device of the Obama Nation, given this self-evident thanatos or love of death, must be and inevitably will be terror.
The Progressives have no other choice following this initial report of allegedly right-wing death threats to at least 10 Democrats following passage of ObamaCare.
"The fundamental transformation of the United States of America" cannot possibly come without terrorizing the unwilling (those awful Republicans behind the purported death threats) … and the "unwilling", particularly now, comprise a major portion of the American body politic.
Will the possible failure of ObamaCare send the Obama Nation home or merely back to the drawing table?
Back to the drawing table.
Behind Obama are basically one hundred years of the American Progressive Movement and before that the formulas and violent prescriptions used for the French Revolution.
Well, it wouldn't be hard to realize that one of the most persuasive instruments of "fundamental transformation" was the French guillotine.
Stalin used firing squads and Mao Tse Tung preferred to starve millions of his people to death.
It wouldn't seem beyond imagining that the Obama Revolution might tax America to death.
Already, in a little longer than Obama's first year in office, a whole new, rather military and militant division of the IRS is being created to insure that the Obama Nation's orders regarding health insurance are carried out.
America is now entering the third and last phase of its revolutionary history.
There was its War of Independence, its Civil War to end slavery and now this third uprising of a Know-It-All Confederacy calling themselves Progressives.
These Progressive Confederates would maintain that, like the enslavement of Africans, the murder of one's own children is a human right.
This monstrosity of Progressivism, created by the most spoiled and pampered generations of American history, now controls all three branches of our government and the American mainstream press as well.
In addition, they control both the East and West Coasts of the American Republic, comprise the "enlightened despots" of the Ivy League and, regrettably, oversee almost all of the arts in the United States.
Voltaire called many of the know-it-alls within his own generation, and those of the coming, wildly horrific years, "enlightened despots".
Such objects of Voltaire's scorn, inevitably the Revolutionary Children of Robespierre, now run the most powerful nation in the history of civilization, absolutely convinced that they and they alone can create "the best of all possible worlds" by "fundamentally transforming the United States of America".
It took a guillotine and the death of thousands to "transform France".
What is the Obama Nation willing to use in order to create the "fundamental transformation of the United States of America"?
With the images of Mao Tse Tung hanging from the White House Christmas tree, it is hardly a stretch of the imagination to envision at least parts of French Revolutionary history being rejuvenated.
Post-Revolutionary France, if you'll remember, had been an ally of the Southern Confederacy.
Having learned the stupidity of such loyalties, Sarkozy's France keeps an increasingly distant and critical eye upon what he may well consider America's would-be Robespierre, President Barack Obama.
Clearly, the present leadership of France, exactly like World War Germany and Japan, has learned the lessons of its butchery in the French Revolution.
Watching another such experiment to create "the best of all possible worlds" must, for the French at least, have déjà vu competing with its own theater of grand guignol.
In short, Sarkozy staring at Obama is a French leader looking back on the worst corner of his nation's own history: the era of Robespierre.
No wonder Franco-American relations are strained.
There on the American stage, the world now sees the shining blade of an IRS guillotine!
A financial monster of death that could very well have all the newly sworn-in American citizens sitting around it, knitting red caps with Jihadist sayings on them, swaying to the incantations of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Defarge, her huge gavel hovering above the formerly well-off Americans, proclaiming, "We won't know what's in the next bill till we pass it!!"
Fade to black as she laughs grotesquely, vengefully and victoriously!!
And that's just the end of Act One!
