The beginning of my 77th year

I’m beginning the third day of my 77th year on Earth!
So far, so good!!
However, my corner of the world, North America, has never been crazier.
The Left gets “Progressively�? more like Communist China and the Right?
Told us who they really are with
their renewed trillion-dollar deficit.
And Canada under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau? What sense, except for
his building this growing insanity of a New World Order, can anyone
make out of his policies for Canada which he seems to have utterly
abandoned?
Despite President Donald Trump, this whole continent is headed for The
New World Order and a deeper and deeper surrender to the United Nations.
A loss of the United States that I grew up in and, as a four-year-old,
learned that we’d won the war against “the bad guys�?? Our defeats in
Korea and Vietnam?
President Reagan almost erased the humiliations by helping to break up
the Soviet Union. He did it just by keeping the United States and its
American population strong and safe.
President Trump is trying to do the same thing but is watching the
entire human race, with its two, huge dictatorships, Putin’s Russia and
Communist China, passing The Point of No Return.
I’m an old man at 77, walking with a cane.
America? At 240-some years of age? With a broken “infrastructure�? and a
military that has equipment breakdowns and peace-time, suddenly
unexpected deaths on a regular basis?!
My faith in God, however, won’t let me despair. I’m no longer any kind
of official Christian.
However, my eternal faith, trust and bottomless love for the Holy
Trinity of the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit only grows deeper
with each passing day.
Three in One!
Works for me.
The Holy Trinity just won’t allow the death of individual freedom.
Why? God gave us each a will of our own because He wanted to be loved
by a human race with free will and not the mindless servitude of slaves.
Communism’s tyranny was never a part of His plans for the future.
Communism and the dozens of other ideologies and religions on the Earth
have been the inevitabilities of individual freedom!
The heart of Christianity, which for myself is The Holy Trinity, will
never be defeated.
And, with Christ’s culminating act of sacrifice in the Crucifixion, the
Crucifix symbolizes everything of any worth.
There is nothing it does not contain.
No important question that it does not answer!
His surrender to God’s Will?! I learned the ultimate depth of that
glorious defeat before God with Alcoholics Anonymous: “Let Go, let God!�?
I’ve been sober for over 16 years now and it would not have been
possible without AA!
The Crucifix on my wall? It contains all of AA and all of God’s
mind-and-soul-shattering Love!!
At 77, I’ve reached an age where a sermon or two from an old man can be
allowed!
If you have a problem with that… it’s been nice to know you.
